The Sensory Leadership Project is a social group designed specifically for neurodivergent tweens/teens to collaborate on meaningful hands-on projects. This group gathers weekly and is a one-of a kind therapeutic service. It is proudly neurodiversity affirming, sensory-informed and allows students work on individual communication goals while also… engaging within a group dynamic, fostering peer relationships, inspiring a sense of leadership, exercising executive functioning skills, boosting self-confidence and becoming involved in the community.

This service is offered in partnership with Feed the Need Sensory Zone (participation is included in the homeschool co-op monthly membership, but registration is also open to anyone in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti community interested in joining). The current 2026 project is to design and create custom apparel, which will be featured in student run pop-up shops around the community. Reach out for information on getting started- the very first group begins SOON!
