“Neuro-Affirming Narratives” is a social group for teen girls that is proudly neurodiversity affirming, sensory-informed and community based. It allows participants to work on individual communication goals while also… engaging within a group dynamic, explore social relationships and celebrate their personal identities.

This service is offered in partnership with Thriving Families Psychological Services, each session is co-led by a speech therapist and a clinical psychologist. Sessions will be planned 1-2x monthly at locations throughout the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area.


The “Messy Middle” Social Language Group is a group designed specifically for neurodivergent tweens/teens with complex communication profiles to collaborate on meaningful hands-on projects. This group gathers weekly and is a one-of a kind therapeutic service. It is proudly neurodiversity affirming, sensory-informed and allows students work on individual communication goals while also… engaging within a group dynamic, fostering peer relationships, inspiring a sense of leadership, exercising executive functioning skills, boosting self-confidence and becoming involved in the community.

This service is offered in partnership with Feed the Need Sensory Zone (participation is included in the “messy middle” homeschool co-op members, but registration is also open to anyone in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti community interested in joining for a small fee).
